Hibiscus Youth Hub
Thriving Youth in Strong Communities At Youth Hauora Hub we envision a vibrant, inclusive community where every youth, regardless of their challenges or circumstances, finds a nurturing environment to thrive. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every young person deserves support towards holistic wellbeing, development and community engagement. Our purpose is to create a safe space of belonging and acceptance where any youth, at any point along their wellbeing journey, feels respected, understood, and celebrated for their differences and individual strengths. We aim to equip young people with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to be empowered, unlock their potential, and lead fulfilling lives as they transition into adulthood, promoting resilience, inspiring confidence, and cultivating positive change in their lives. Our key point of difference is our integrative community partnerships. Using innovative programs, individualised support and a collaborative approach, we create a responsive and positive environment staffed by trained professionals, that is one-of-a-kind and truly unique.

Salt Community Trust
Salt Community Trust is an independent charitable trust dedicated to making a positive impact on the broader Hibiscus Coast community. With a foundation built on positive relationships, Salt focuses on providing essential support to children, youth, parents, and extended whanau. We offer mentoring and wellbeing programmes in primary schools; 24-7 youth mentors at Orewa College; a weekly foodbank; music/dance therapy for adults with disabilities; and social enterprise op shops in Orewa and Silverdale that support our work.

Silverdale Community Trust
HELPING OUR COMMUNITY TO THRIVE The Hibiscus Coast is a fantastic place to live, and the Silverdale Community Trust does the Mahi to help the individuals and whanau living here build an even brighter future. WE FOCUS ON: Connection through community events. Empowerment through positive life skills education. Engagement via youth mentoring and support. Frank Jacobson has a saying he likes to use when it comes to helping people with their challenges. “Be the fence at the top of the cliff rather than the ambulance at the bottom of it.” We seek to achieve this through positive community events, seminars packed with practical tips for life and a dedicated team of trained youth workers who mentor local college students. We love collaboration and often work with other like-minded organisations on community projects. In short, we are ‘better together’!

Voices of Hope
We believe in the power of sharing lived experience - Our storytelling platform exists to bring better understanding of mental health challenges, promote help-seeking behaviours and useful resources, and ultimately spread hope.
